Description Clearly there were just too many people complaining that the venerable AP ROO Chrono was just not big enough for manly man wrists. AP listened, and in 2014 introduced the 44mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. The watch features a 44mm case with oversized crown and pusher protectors and rectangular chrono pushers finished in ceramic. Despite its extra size it does not feel quite as chunky as the original 42mm watch, something that can be attributed to an almost identical case thickness of 14.1mm. The dial is very similar to the 42mm version and features APs Méga Tapisserie finish as well as the inner tachymetre bezel and hidden date magnifier.
